„The Steven Spielberg Jewish Film Archive at the Hebrew University has completed a major upgrade and expansion of its “virtual cinema” project. The Archive has launched a new, contemporary and user-friendly portal, now containing over 400 films from its collection. Access to the site is at: http://www.spielbergfilmarchive.org.il/kv/index.html.
The project, funded by the American Friends of the Hebrew University in Los Angeles in honor of Motion Picture Association of America Chairman Jack Valenti, began in 2002. This year’s additions bring the total to over 400 complete motion pictures that may be viewed by PC and MAC users with broadband/ADSL Internet access.
The site was designed in conjunction with CastUP and being served by CastUP Nile and CastUP Network, a global media CDN specialized in streaming media process and delivery.“ (Presseerklärung, 3.6.2007)
