Gestern hat die Criterion Collection bekannt gegeben, dass im Herbst die ersten Titel dieses renommierten Labels auf Blu ray erscheinen werden. Damit ist das neue High Def-Format endgültig in der Szene der Filmliebhaber angekommen, die Filme in bisher nicht gekannter Perfektion privat geniessen wollen. Blu ray wird also kein Synonym für Actionfilme bleiben, mit denen Gamer ihre Playstation 3 füttern. Es wäre ja auch zu schade, wenn aufwändige 4K-Restaurierungen großer Klassiker nur auf DVD zugänglich wären. Hier die Frühlingsgrüße von Criterion:
